Eh, not surprising. For those who are really into Metroid, we already know that Samus has a very human side to her. Remember, she had a very strong attachment to Adam, and she greatly mourned his loss. She just didn't cry about it is all. But it seems we get to actually see Adam this time around, so maybe we'll see how they interacted.
On top of that, playing the other games we come to understand that Samus doesn't like taking orders, and she is very opinionated in her missions. She follows orders until her buttons are pushed, and she'd sacrifice herself and disobey orders in order to save others.
So.... as far as seeing a human side of her goes, I don't think I will be all too impressed. It'll be nice to see body language and facial expressions, though.
