OK it has its merits. It's original and unique. It has a novelty feel to it - it's the kind of game you' have a lot of fun playing in a video store or something. However, as mentioned, it's INCREDIBLY easy and quick to finish, so it's probably not worth spending money on unless you really enjoy repeating levels trying to get the highest possible score.
I think if they'd taken the idea and done something better with it, eg. free roaming (no1 has yet mentioned that you are on a set path and can't do anything about it) and more worlds/pokemon, it would have been a worthwhile game.
