I honestly have no idea how to connect to another persons' town however, unless it's just a matter of adding them to my friends' list and then having Copper search for someone with an open gate (list came up empty last I tried).

My town is new, but it's got apples for anyone whom needs it. I know I would like foreign fruit myself (my neighbors keep sending me random pieces of furniture when I send them fruit, as it's been suggested that if you send them a native fruit, they can send you a foreign one in exchange..).

I know my posts are somewhat mixed up but as I mentioned my knowledge on friendcodes is a little lacking because it is really a strange method of linking up with others I dont get it really I want to do multiplayer but I need a code? Well I dont see why... but any one who wants to register me I would be really greatful to that.
