This game. Overhyped?

I'm not going to lie but when I first saw this game on YouTube, I thought it was going to be the coolest game ever. I mean 16 player multiplayer? (soon changed to 12) seemed like the coolest game ever. I mean every. Single. Day. I would look up new vids on YouTube to see if anything showed up. Even to the point where the day it came out, I was practically begging my parents if I could get this game. I'm just happy they said no.

Why? Because after reading several reviews and asking several friends about what they think about the game, they all almost said the same thing. The basic level design was the repetitive, online gets boring fast (You get bored, 2-3 weeks tops), the levels are straightforward and need more leeway to explore, and the ASE is sorely underutlized


But of course, I've never played this game before so feel free to critize me on my way of thinking how this game is.

You know, I've actually tried a demo once, buddy. I remember, the controls were really sensitive. I soon got frustrated, because swinging the nunchuk makes you throw a grenade, and I kept doing it on accident. Then, you melee by swinging the wii remote. I moved my arm around so fast, it thought I was meleeing the whole time. Oh, yeah, and there's no multiplayer/splitscreen. Just WiFi mode.

Yeah when I said 12 player multiplayer I meant on online mode, not split screen. But I never heard that the controls are that sensitive. Are they really?

But seriously, this game doesn't look horrible, but it's no CoD. Wii players can say how awesome it is as much as they want, they just don't get the same games as us.

Man this game sucks booty holes.
Im not gonna lie eather I was like cool another game with wii-speak omg ima go F*** a pikachu like I was so hype back then.and finnaly when I brought it I played it its freaking sucks this game was hyped up 2 much and guess what COD 5 is freaking better than the conduit.

O_o...huh...

Anyway...I dissagree. The story mode gets a little old after a while, but that's not what sold the game in the first place. If I could, I would back-hand anyone who criticises the controls...a quick look at the options menu will show you that EVERYTHING is customizable! If you don't like having to wave the Wiimote/nunchuk around, set it to a different button. If you want it less sensitive, tweek the turning. Not very hard...

And if you haven't played the multiplayer...STFU and GTFO right now! It's as good, if not better than Halo, easy(I have 'em both, I know). I know to some (Kr!sP) that ain't saying much, but I don't have much to pick from as far as (good) online fps's go.

Pretty much, if you've heard bad things about it, the person who told you has either never played online, or is so bad that he's bitter and blames the game for his suckage.

... I knew that you could customize controls, but they somehow added that out in the demo.
I went into GameStop, and they said that you cannot play split screen multiplayer with your friends.
