Bring back Shout Box

I have no idea why the Shout Box was taken away, even though there's this new chat thing. At least with the Shout Box there was ALWAYS someone there to talk to/challenge, but everytime I've been to that chat thing there's been no1 else.

Honestly, finding a Wi-Fi challenge in real time is SO much easier and almost no hassle, please put a Shout Box back, OR put the chat thing on the main forums page so people are actually there.

I'm not saying the chat thing is bad. Just we can still have the Shout Box too =]

Yes, I completely agree. The chat has it's pro's. And mainly it's less public, but people still don't go there, because I feel there just to lazy to make it there.. Can't we have both?

Honestly with most of you, how hard is it to click on chat, it takes not even one second and then you're in. The Shoutbox is not a chatroom, a lot of people still don't understand that. It's not meant for a chatroom.

i agree with kiba, open a second window and elave the chat open, it takes maybe 10s econds to laod if its lagging, and no refresh needed!!

Maybe you need to a link to open up shoutbox in a new window and not in a site. I kinda like the idea...

It won't matter, Shoutbox is not a chatroom, never was, never will. It's ridiculous that people can be that lazy just to click on chat.

Who ever said it was a chatroom? It doesn't have to be for people to have conversations in it, and not everyone even wants a chat on the site. For me I type in the shoutbox if for instance I just happen to refresh the page to check for new posts and someone is looking for me, or saying something that intrests me. Its also a faster way to talk instead of using pagers. The shoutbox is no more mindless jabber than the chat is.

Very true. :/

All you have to do is open up Chat in one tab and browse the forums in another. It's what I've always done.

If you don't like it, tough luck. Because I highly doubt the shoutbox will be returning any time soon.
