News - Group Memberships

Yet another new feature to our continuously(?) growing community. Something I think each of you will like.

I'm proud to announce Group Memberships! Dun, dun, dun!....

But what are these? What's in it for me? Well...

Express yourself through group members ships found in UserCP (Options)>Networking>Group Members. Select the group you would like to join, and finally press the 'join group'.

In the very near future, the html tag will be with you wherever you go. But Ninny, what's this html thing you speak of? It's the color code of your user name.

Now, let me get this straight. You may all be apart of each membership usergroup. However, for example: if one decides to join the DSigners, and you have never opened photoshop in your life, you will be handed an infraction. So!, be on the look out for others falsely joining groups...Who knows!, you might be rewarded some day. =) Hint* Hint*

Let the suggestions fly of new group memberships you would like to see, and maybe. Just maybe they'll end up there.

I had like 3 invites to 3 groups like last week. I noticed them when I was changing my options, so does that make me extra special? =o

Seriously though, this is pretty nice.

Ah. Now I understand them. I like the idea. I'm not following on the whole HTML, username color code thing.

EDIT: Nevermind. Right when I posted this my username went green.

Social Groups are user created for their choice of category. That is why they are social groups.

Group Memberships have been created by our very own administrators and are run by them too.

They're completely different from each other. One is user ran, the other staff ran.

But yes, you're uber special...:P

Um so If I joined pokeaddicts is there anything I would specifically need other than pokemon games.

Nah, not much. Pokemon games, pocket monster knowledge and a will to play others that challenge you.

Forums will be coming for members of specific group memberships. That will give you a place to discuss the group. It will be a public Forum, but will be moderated so others that are not apart of that usergroup cannot post there.

also to join that special gaurd group or something like that do you have to be on staff.
