Due to negligible input from two of our writers, they are being dismissed from the team, meaning that we are now accepting applications for two more writers. I'm going to copy most of what ProdigyX said in his thread last time, as he managed to cover all the bases.

As you can see, being on the News Team is a hard and difficult job. Although, it is also a lot of fun and you do have some benefits

Here's what your application should look like:

4. Add a small review or news post, or anything which demonstrates your writing ability

To be a writer, you must fulfill the following criteria.

1. Must have been a member here for 1 month
2. Must have 50 posts
3. Must be mature and nice to other members and staff
4. Have good spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
5. Must be enthusiastic and willing to posting regular articles to the news board.

I think I should have this position because, I'm honest, loyal, and responsible. I'm nice to other members and i help whenever i can, I also have respect for others.

News Post

Well if your a Bioshock fan anticipated for the release of number "Dos", then you will have to wait another year. Yup the second addition in the franchise has been pushed back to the year 2010. You might say "Why would are they waiting another year instead of November 6, 2009? Don't they want money?", That's exactly what they want money, they're pushing the release date back to get better sales in the market. Take Two chairman Strauss Zelnick said the company "concluded that moving the release of BioShock 2 into fiscal year 2010 was the right decision for the product. We believe the result will be a more compelling consumer experience and a better performing product in the marketplace." CEO Ben Feder added that the decision wasn't easy, but they "felt that it was essential to invest the additional time to ensure that this title will deliver what its fans expect and deserve." Also another game that's being delayed till 2010 is another highly anticipated game "Heavy Rain", due to a "Crowded Christmas"

I'm good at stuff, such as leading, thinking of ideas, finding topics , leading events yaddy yadda ya...

I think I should have this position because I'm obviously cooler than everyone else.

I'm pretty young. I'm between 0 and your mom's age. So high and low you can't even comprehend. I know...don't cry.

I would like to be a writer for Wiiusers.net because I would love to give news and write reviews. MY grammar and s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g are almost flawless. And plus, I would love the chance. Oh, and I'll do it for free.

I think I should have this position because I am an active member, and a hard worker. I have always been good at s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g, grammar, and I get A's on my creative writing assignments. I am a good person to go for information, too. How? I subscribe to GamePro, check the Nintendo website every other day, and if I get any requests related to news, I will put it to my best ability to use my mind's acquaintance.

I'm 14 years old, 15 in March. That is where the fun begins.

according to GamePro, here is a leak picture on the Legend of Zelda:

1: No Master
You'll notice that Link is not holding a sword in this picture, nor is one lung across his back. This has led to intense speculation about our second observation.

2: The Ghostly Girl
This mysterious female character is standing with her back to Link We can see two jewels affixed to her body, as well as gold trim lining her stomach. All of this leads us to believe that this apparition is, in fact, the newest incarnation of the Master Sword. Almost every Zelda title has included Link transforming or transporting, so why not his sword?

3: Forged In Steel
The shiny silver lettering of "The Legend of Zelda" logo seems to reiterate the fact that the Master Sword will be a central part of the game. And it does seem to match that mysterious girl...

4: Break Down The Wall
Link and his female companion seem to be standing against a destroyed wall. Busting down walls with bombs is a common Zelda action, but we don't think this image would include it for that reason. In fact, tge bright orange background makes it seem like their destination might be somewhat...hellish.

Using my vast writing background and interest in the subject, along with my dedication to writing and my witty but appropriate sense of humor I can ensure you that every article I write will be grade A quality.

I'm here all the time, and if given the chance I will be a very active writer.

I also make note to welcome new members and be as helpful as I can, though most just ignore me...

I am kind and respectful to others, I am a mature individual who takes pride in his ability to write quirky and interesting reviews. You can be sure that I'd never say anything offensive in something I've written. Also my spelling and grammar are flawless.

1. I would like to be a writer at Wiiusers.net because I have a strange addicition to writing things, so much,that maybe Hideo Kojima would think I write to much. There is also the fact that when writing a review it has to be good, that is where the words ''be yourself'' is than just act like a borring writer who makes words sound complex to the none native English audience.

2. I think I should have this position because, when you write something you obviously get better at writing so the best way to get better writing is by writing something useful but yet fun things (Non borring reviews and articles)

Nintendo Wii Horseback Riding Controller

Yes, you heard right! A shocking discovery. This controller is an inflatable saddle with a slot for the Wii Remote to fit into. Nintendo is thinking of putting in a one-way air valve so that the user may inflate it his or her self. They are still in the process of, well, coming up with the game. It senses movement by the usage of the accelerometers. You hold the nunchuck accessory as a simulation of holding reigns. You also use it as a sword or lasso. You balance in bronco riding with it via raising your hand. Giddy up, cowboy! That's not all though! You can also simulate riding other animals! Such animals include: bulls, camels, elephants, burros, dolphins, whales, possibly even imaginary creatures including dragons, griffons, unicorns, and giant eagles!! Nintendo is also suggesting such other things such as riding hang gliders, magic carpets, motorcycles (imagine playing a Mario Kart game with something like this!), and jet skis! There will be more information to come as this idea progresses, or if Nintendo throws it out the window, well who can blame them? This is a risky idea that will either be a big failure or a big blowout! All this guy has to say is that if Nintendo follows through with this idea, it will help define the Wii Vitality Sensor!

My review, kind of short.

THE CONDUIT

Well, The Conduit showed up, everyone was fairly excited for it, as was I.
Except, when you started playing it, it got, tiring.

See the thing that I was sort of unhappy about, was there was no split screen mode. I couldn't shoot my sisters head off whenever I wanted to. My sis and I love playing Conduit, but we can't play each other. SO I would walk around, then say to myself, "Hey, I could play Conduit with my sister," Nope, you have to spend 300 dollars for a new game and new system, or you can go to a friends house just to play someone else. That's just trippy and cruel. Also, if you had noticed, some dude, figured out how to hack online. If he was using homebrew, then Nintendo could sew the people that made homebrew, and +Brawl fans everywhere would be ticked. But apparently, High Voltage is doing something about this, or so I have heard. I must say, High Voltage better hurry up with that hax0r cur3, because their hacking adventures is messing with my precious playing time. Also, glitches are common with this game. But it isn't like a little cute glitch, it's like too many glitches. To name a few, sometimes when you play Team Reaper, when you connect to a game, you are stuck in between walls, so the computer doesn't see this as a playing field, and doesn't allow you to leave the game, or shoot yourself to re-spawn in the proper playing field. You have to shut off the Wii just to get out of the match. Another glitch is when you occasionaly shoot someone enough times, it delays the kill, letting the other person shoot you until you die, then, seconds later they proceed to kick the bucket. Single player is just too short, and often not very fun, so the only feature that is REASONABLY fun, is multiplayer. And once you get hacked off at hackers, you have to find friends to play with, and that usually doesn't work out because they could have other things to do. Really, High Voltage and Sega better make a better sequel, because this game makes me want to throw my Wii remote at the screen on PURPOSE. I would suppose this game is a 7.5, NAY, a 6.5/10.

That's all very well, but leaving about 30 soft deletes isn't much better. I got rid of them all together to make mine and Riot's job easier.
