District 9 discussion

Have any of you heard about this new movie called District 9? It's an alien movie but not a horror type alien movie. Apparently the movie is very smart, the special effects are amazing, it got rated well by critiques and movie-goers and I've been dieing to see it. Has anyone seen it? Also this was suppose to be the halo movie but when it got shut down the director for it made this, amazing master piece. Finally a movie where aliens aren't just some creatures trying to enslave us, no in this movie we try to enslave this and use their weaponry of our own accord but their weapons can only be used by one with alien DNA.

This movie had a small budget and no huge actors, that makes it all the better to me that it still pulled through. Of course it's out now, I suggest you go watch it like I will be soon.

for having such a low budget it looks sweet!

Me and some broskis are gonna go see it soon. hopefully...

i saw it on opening night. it was fking EPIC! amazing movie... sooo good.... *drools* but seriously, it was one of the best movies i have ever seen. every one should go see it. its filmed in a documentary form and it just makes it that more realistic... if you didn't know better, you would swear you were watching an actual documentary.

Ahh, so it is Cloverfield-esque? All the more reason to see it.
