On the Time.com Mobile app there's an article titled, "Why Kids Who Get Spanked Have Lower IQs." This has been a debated topic for years. It does straighten-up behavior but does it really leave kids emotionally scarred and/or feel scared of others? Never know what kind of articles you'll come across.

I'm very interested in new and world happenings. But the stuff I have bolded in your quote is a problem. T.V. news and most newspapers are the most biased, falsifying, lying, pieces of crap. They can't be trusted, EVER. I then lo'd at the underlined sentence. There isn't ever anything good about the U.S. of A. when it comes o news. And what news about the U.S. you do get is greatly biased and falsely presented(at least if it's on t.v. and newspapers).
But I love news when it is right news. Not gonna share anything though because nothing interesting that shouldn't already have been said somewhere in a post on this site.
