Your first anime

What was the first anime you ever watched.

For me it was Deathnote

before deathnote I guess I sorta watched inuyasaha, I mean just when it was on I didn't actually start at the beginning.

But before deathnote I was completely clueless about anime, a friend of mine had been watching Naruto and I started Deathnote at the same time he started bleach.

Anyway after deathnote i watched, in this order:

Bleach
Claymore
Full Metal Panic: Fomuffu
Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Shuffle!
And Ah! My Goddess!

My first was Yu Yu Hakusho, the only reason is that it was one of Adult Swims main anime a long time ago.

oh well I forgot about Yugio and Pokemon, but technically they dont count because at the time I didnt know they were anime shows.

Congratulations...you're officially awesome.

I seriously doubt I have anywhere near enough room to rack off all the animes I've seen, but I think Poke'mon was the first (one of the first things I saw on T.V. for that matter, and yes, it is technically an anime).

Here are a few that I like a little more than most:

Full Metal Panic (All-time favorite!)
Afro Samurai (Do I really have a choice?)
Gundam Wing (Brings me back to the good old days...)
Yu Yu Hakusho
Tenchi
Owtlaw Star
Cowboy Bebob

Almost in that order. I feel like I'm forgetting something...I'll post more if I think of them.

My first anime was Lupin the 3rd, I believe. I then saw Full Metal Alchemist, and so on and so forth from the animes [adult swim] showed.

But once I saw FLCL I stopped watching any new anime as nothing can top that anime.

Fooly Cooly certainly was...unique...but I stil prefer Full Metal Panic. It amazes me how someone can be so incredibly competent and incompetent at the same time!

For me it started with the greatness of DBZ then Zoids,Pokemon,and Digimon,yugioh,inuyasha and I think I left some out but I do remember Roin Warriors.

Last week I went back an ddecided to read the manga, loved it. Then I tried watching the anime, I watched that? It was disgusting, plot was taken out, characetrs names and personalities were changed and the ending was ruined.

then there was; Naruto, Death Note, Law of Ueki, Code Geass
and the Air gear manga.
