Has anyone seen this movie yet? I have...and It is the MOST epic movie I have seen in a long time (Since Lord of the Rings). James Cameron spent 14 Years developing and filming this movie and it really shows. I have never seen anything like it. If none of you have seen it yet. I suggest that you do so. it's 3 Hours of 3D Goodness as well.

Yeah, I thought this was the best movie of the year. I loved the story and the plot, this movie truly had something in it for everyone.

i want to see it but it seems like somehting you MUST see in theatres. So I'd have to go to the theatres some time...also I want to see Sherlock Holmes. Too many movies.

It's not a must. It's only obvious. The 3D in the movie was absolutely stunning. You'll miss out on the best experience if you don't go to the theatres.

omg I want to go see it so frickin bad! Everyone I know says it is one of teh best movies ever. But all the reviewers said it was shit/. Well, go suck a lemon, fuckin reviewers!

I heard the movie costed 550 million dollars. Good movies don't usually make more than 100 million in the first month right? How they hell aren't they bankrupt?

Lol way off. The movie was made for approximatly 280,000,000 to 300,000,000. And they aren't too far off from making the money back. Opening night grossed 75,000,000 second weekend grossed 72,000,000. I went to see the movie again today and the ENTIRE theatre was still packed. I'm sure a lot of people are seeing the movie at least twice. Like me I just had to see it again. That is just north america alone. it released world wide, so there are still those sales to count.

I haven't seen it, but I plan to. Most of my coworkers saw it. The dumber ones were like, "It's so coooool" while the more intelligent ones were like, "It was okay". They all agree that the visuals were absolutely breathtaking, but I can tell that just from the trailers. I hear that the story is a little lame and underdeveloped, though. I hear it's pretty much "Great concept, poor execution".

Guess I'll have to see for myself.

James Cameron made this movie for the experience. True the story isn't 100% amazing, the reason the movie was absolutely amazing (yes I say this) was because of the experience. While i was watching the movie both times. Honestly I forgot I was watching a movie. The 3D in it makes it feel as if you are in it.

Well, I saw the movie, and thought it was pretty good. I didn't think that is was as awesome as everyone said, but I still think it was one of the best movies I've seen. I thought the way the characters and objects interacted with the environment made it look very great, and the detail of the creatures, especially the banshees, made me wonder how they actually got fake creatures to look like they really existed. The way the trees and such looked realistic too was also a nice touch, although some scenes...

seemed to drag on for a while until it made me wonder how much longer it'd continue for. Overall, the movie was good though.
