At an event in London today, Nintendo confirmed in an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine that Monster Hunter Tri will indeed be compatible with Wii Speak, as has already been speculated.
This should be a welcome addition to the online co-op play in the game, allowing players to work out strategies, share tips and cry for help when needed.
There will be a Wii Speak bundle available if you don't already have it, alongside a Wii Speak + Classic Controller Pro bundle, and of course, the game on its own. No news on cost yet, however.
Also confirmed for the game is downloadable content, another welcome addition amongst the array of Nintendo titles that would benefit hugely from it, yet don't have the feature.
Let's just hope Capcom don't start charging us upon release for "extra" costumes and weapons that should be in the game from the start, like they have in the past with certain other console games...
You can expect to be slaying monsters with your friends this April.
