Default WEIRD RUMOR: SONIC TO APPEAR IN SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2? What the heck is up with that?
Around and around, the game never stops. Rumors here and there, etc.

NGamer magazine has tweeted that "resources" have told them that Sonic is supposed to appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2. That seems very unlikely. But, then again, apparently along with this, there will be a "Green Hill" Galaxy, obviously named after Sonic's first level in his original game.

Sonic has absolutely no place in Mario Galaxy, end of conversation. Two M&S olympics games and Brawl is enough for now.

The Galaxy is a great idea! They should do one for every major Nintendo character, like those in brawl. Just imagine a 2-D galaxy of Mr.Game & Watch.

Wait a second... This would be like Kingdom Hearts, I change my mind!

Super Mario Galaxy = advanced Wii version of Kingdom Hearts II.

I read about this in UK Ninty magazine NGamer a couple of weeks ago. I died a little inside.
It's almost certainly just a rumour though. Nintendo are experienced and intelligent and I'm sure they know that bringing a character from outside the Mario universe in isn't a great idea, especially someone with as much in-your-face attitude as Sonic. It's the equivalent of putting guns in Zelda; it will never work and nobody wants it.

That does make sense, I mean why would there be stars in Sonic's world. Sonic searches for the Chaos Emeralds, so why would there be stars in his galaxy?
