Default Rock Band Wii

Rock Band Wii was recently released, and I had a few Toys R Us gift cards from way back whenever... So I figured, why not get Rock Band?

The Gameplay: Notes scroll vertically down the screen, and using Guitar, Bass, Vocal, or Drums, you need to time you're strumming, singing, or drumming to hit the notes.
If you've played any of the Guitar Hero games, the guitar might feel a little weird at first, and you might not be able to time most of the notes correctly. But, once you get used to the timing of how the notes scroll, which will probably only take a couple of songs, you'll be fine. If you haven't played Guitar Hero, I've noticed you pick up the guitar more easily. It's also significantly easier to whammy than in Guitar Hero. The Drums, well, they could've been a little more sensitive... but, again, once you get used to it (also will take only a couple of songs) you will feel at home using the Drums. The Vocals... Well, in my opinion, the Mic was overly sensitive. There were parts when I was playing, where I had obviously stopped singing , and it was counted against me! If you know a song perfectly, by heart, by all means use the Mic, or if you're just really good at it. Other than that, I don't think you will use the Mic much.
4/5
The Graphics: The characters are slightly less detailed than in Guitar Hero. I find that the notes don't have as much color as in Guitar Hero, and therefore are less distinguishable from each other, but that's not a problem, as all the colors of notes run in different lanes.

Sound: Some great tracks in there. The music was great! Then again, what do you expect from a game like this?

Replay Value: This really depends. If you have siblings, you could be playing this game forever, trying to get 100% on each song. If you are playing alone, then you might stop after you beat all the songs on Single player, or you might decide to keep playing, and trying to get 100% on each song, depending on whether you like to get the full value out of games, or just blaze through them. Mainly though, I have seen that people tend to get more replay value out of this when playing with friends or siblings.
4/5
Overall: Rock Band is a great game to play with friends, and a decent game to play alone!

Great Review! The lack of DLC makes me not too enthusiastic about this game though, I'd rather get Guitar Hero World Tour.
