How will we get members back and increase the population?

What are some great ideas to get this place to life again? Our staff seems to be dying down; We seriously need something done. Genesis can't be completed anymore, right? So let's figure something else out. As we, the small active community, need to do something for this site so great, it will boost our karma and maybe become closer to a major gaming forum site than we ever were.

I've been trying to get people to play brawl again, if I could make my thread a bit more visible. Like most other processes, it'll take time. Try to be a little direct with the members, start more tounaments or whatever gets the point across.

Well, if it were me i would make this an all gaming site not just for wii, but i can see why it's just wiiusers. So, if we are to going to bring this site back to life we need to think very hard about this. We could, make more interesting tourneys, and try to advertise around places. We need more clans on this site. We could possibly re-birth the clan for wiiusers, but make a new clan for the year 2010. A better thing would do is ask the fellow members of wiiusers what do they want that would benefit them from this, also making more people active.

We could try to do those user groups again with the color names and stuff, people seemed to be active when we did that a while back.. But yea i think you should ask the members what do they request for you guys to have. Now everything the members say will not be possible to do of course but, certain ones you could take in to consideration and what not. We could try to make a new model custom skin for the site, that will blow everyone minds out(Not literally). I'm just giving ideas, lol. Hope i could help ya out a little bit at the most?

Also Bombz, brawl won't stay forever you have to remember all the new games that are coming out that will make wii even more popular, we need to focus on more games other than brawl too. We could still do Mario kart wii again, and add TvC the new game that comes out in 2 more days. I hear that game will make brawlers stop playing but, just hypocrites saying that, and agreeing to it lol. No offense. But, i like the idea of still having Bombz brawl thing up. Also best time to make any skins is either spring break, or summer is when ya can achieve the most at that time. I'll help advertise you guys around stuff to brings member here rather staff or not we're a community.

Again, this is what, the 5th time this has happened? We've always recovered. Project Genesis can still be completed. I do agree on attempting a few events but nothing too big. Everyone's well into school & are most likely busy beyond believe. Maybe about May we can start building bigger events that will lead into the Summer. But for now, be patient. Post a few more threads about games (but not to a spam extent).

As far as clans go, I don't think there are quite enough members for any more clans (this I realized after making mine). Then again, what's it going to hurt?

Last thing, quit making these threads! Not only are there 6 or 7 others of these but when Guests see these they think, "Oh, there's not too many people here. I'm going to *insert site name here*." Let's try to stay a little positive here.

What would I do to get some new members around here? Stop making threads about how much this place sucks. If you want something done then do it, there's no rule against starting a clan or a tourney or something like that. I could make a tourney, I really could but every time I do everyone's to lazy to do their matches and just waits it out so they can send a message saying the other never responded. Honestly, if people aren't having fun here they shouldn't be here, I'm not going to force old members to return.

The only thing we should do is maybe advertise a bit, I want to start up some sort of podcast but things take time, just wait for SMG2, Other M, Golden Sun DS, Zelda Wii 2 and No More Heroes 2 as well as Modern Warfare for Wii to come out. Other than that, post in some threads, play games with some friends, etc. that's what the forum's for.

I'm trying my best to stay active, but the lack of threads isn't helping. I am still writing for here, and my working at some other sites as well slows this a little down for me, with an added increase in article quality but anyway.

Ok, how about some more DIVERSE events, such as 360 and PS3 events, also. Because Kr!sP is the most active events person, I nominate him as Co-Ordinator, and he decides if we need a new events team, etc. And we, if we have any tourney ideas, tell him what we're thinking of.

lol thx, if only you could. and we do need a new events team. As for PS3 and 360 events, problem is this is a Wii site, the people with other systems may not have the same games. I think we should get a clan thing going, not even to face other clans just for the site to start playing each other more, if anyone at all plays CoD MW2 then let's make a party or something.

Okay, I'm back.

I haven't been terribly active, but I've had pretty good reasons...I got kicked out of the nicest house I've ever lived in at the start of the month, and that has 'caused quite a bit of problems...

The most recent ridiculous twist of fate happened this past weekend. There was a leak at my cousin's house (where I've been staying) that completely flooded two rooms...that was an ordeal...I still have to fix the concrete...damn...

Well, now that that's out of the way...we REALLY need the chatbox back! In all honesty, I don't know if I'd be here if it weren't for the old one. Now I know about what the admins have going on, but it' just not happening fast enough...I don't really care about the way the site looks (and it doesn't really matter) but the chatbox actually changes things. It maks talking to people really convienent and the (already under-used) IRC chat doesn't even work anymore!

And yeah, there do need to be some promotions around here. I could give a damn if I go up the ladder or not, but other people around here could do alot more if they were promoted. And what the hell is up with the dead profiles? Bluestrat's still MIA! He's the best programer we have! We need more people, things done, and it can't be that hard to bring them back. Is anything about that wise?
