Game Night

Also I suggested this earlier in the chat, how about a game night type event(s)? Like at a certain time of the day, members go in the chat and just talk. But also they'll be able to play whatever games they wanna play with whoever has it.
No rules. Just play.
But we can also through in some contest or small tournaments in there with small prizes (For ACCF we can give out Bells, SSBB some forum prize like something to put in their sig or even an award, MKW same as Smash etc.)
We can have some leaders or moderators for each game (They don't have to be part of WiiUsers staff).
If we all agree on this and have enough people into this, we can discuss time/length, day, how many weeks it'll take place unless decided to be weekly or every other week, and prizes/small events.

How about once a week, lets say Friday.
On the first Friday of the month, a FOCUS on Mario Kart Wii.
Second Friday, SSBB.
So on and so forth.

and Yeah bombz like we can have mast tournaments focusing on the select game, but there would also be a chance for others who don't have the certain game can still participate by just playing with others in different games.

How about we EXPAND that game field and include one PS3 game and one Xbox 360 every Friday, too? Just to make it more fair for everyone else that doesn't have a Nintendo system (true, that's pretty much no one), but I think it would be a good idea to have like, some kind of weekend tournament (preferably more than just FPS'), and possibly some PC game tournaments.

We could also go by theme, like one week, we could have an FPS, another week RPG, another strategy games, etc.

and we can't just rely on events team, either, to do this (which is at the moment, just Smith and Agenda), which probably have stuff going on, too.

while that is a good idea, another good idea to build off of is real-life WiiUsers record setter, such as a root beer drinking contest, highest jump, etc. and it could be called the WiiUsers Games or something like that, and I or someone could be the host, and you, the community, post your videos to the host's thread, or something similar to that, for proof purposes, and all that.

• For the tournament, we aren't there yet. We are going to need more people to get things going for that, but I got some good news that can probably lead to better news. And yes, the weekend tournament is good, again we're not fully capable to at the moment.

-You keep suggesting that we should do these things ourselves, yet right now, all I'm seeing is everybody posting about ideas. True, you make thread or two, but that doesn't mean it'll just happen. Now I don't mean to be mean, but you seem to be doing these same things yourself, which is informing, but not acting. So, as it seems to me you've been hypocritically talking, ACT UPON IT. This isn't just pointed at Bombz, either, I think everyone should follow up on their thoughts, including me.

Actually I am doing something, with a couple of members as well.It is small, but I think we might try something a bit more productive soon.

well, hopefully it works. but, right now, I am in a place where I'm tired all the time, and getting my braces tightened doesn't help.
