It's not like we are talking about R/B remakes when there weren't anything spectacular about those games..

G/S were and are probably still considered to be the best pokemon games to have been created. Giving them effects from D/P would only help them be better.

I agree with Super T about the add-on features of a third gen. That's what always happens when they make a third game installment. I don't mean to crush anyone's hopes but new pokemon won't be introduced for at least another 2-3 years - when a new handheld is introduced by nintendo. However, I do agree about the lack of fire types in the games.

On another note, I strongly believe that a remake of Silver and Gold as well as a third installment of the D/P games are being made. The reason for the remake of G/S is that they have already copyrighted the names Dawn Gold and Dusk Silver. Other than that, there is no other proof.

Honestly, with 493 Pokemon I think it's time they try something new.

Pokemon MMO, REAL Pokemon RPG...the possibilities are endless with the DS and Wii being Online Capable.

Sure, I'd buy any new Pokemon game they throw out there, but it's about time they change the style >_>;; After all these years it's getting much more hard to tolerate.

It'll obviously be true. And sadly, I can only hope they don't make it 'exactly' the same as D/P and give us some 'changes' and a challange from the Gym Leaders & a rematch with the Elite Four!!

I definitely want this game. I only got my DS last year, so I don't have many games anyway. This will make a nice addition to my collection. Why does Nintendo come out with so many good games so often?!?!?!?!? I am completely broke.:cry2:

I still think its about time for an upgraded Red/Blue version to be released, with only visuals being updated. I'd get that game if I had a DS, I wouldn't even care what people said!

That already happen. Even though there pokemon level don't get any higher & Emerald once aloud you to have rematchs on Gym Leaders with stronger & newer pokemon.

I think that already happen when they made Fire Red & Leaf Green a remake of Blue & Red.

If its true. We will find out sometime this month of the third version of the forth generation or maybe a few more clue's about it. I know it said June. The reason I said this was since that was posted on April 15, 2008. So this is going to be true.
