What is Genesis?

Genesis, for the uninitiated, is the first book of the Christian Old Testament or the Jewish Torah. You know, the one with the stories about naked folk strutting around with leaves covering their naughty bits and smooth talking snakes and big floods and men in big boats and all that jazz.

But aside from Mazumia insisting that foliage is an ample substitute for Y-fronts, this isn't what Project Genesis is all about. It's about a new start; a new beginning; a new era. It's about filling in the cracks that emerged over the ice age that came to be known as the Era of Inactivity (citation needed), whilst introducing new features and systems on top of these new foundations. It's about taking the site, and turning into something which people can take pride in, which people can enjoy.
With the grand unveiling creeping ever closer, it's time to get ready.

It's time for you to prepare yourself.
Genesis is coming.
And Mazumia's got a whole load of leaves waiting in the wings.

So exciting. Like a storm rising, if anyone reads/watches Air Gear...it's like Sleeping Forest vs. Genesis...which hasn't happened in the mangas yet. But all in all it needs a catch phrase that isn't taken from Ike.
How about just "Get Ready"?

Seeing how the Sega Genesis was one of the greatest gaming systems available 10 years ago, I think Jarrett just made a metaphorical expression showing how awesome this change is going to be. o:

... That, or he was just trying to get a few people to go "Lol". Either way, I can't wait for the Genesis to begin. It sounds very exciting. ;D
