How about you guys up the avatar size to like 1 mb max or so, maybe make it so they can be up to 200x200, cuz even though it isn't essential, it isn't hard either and then maybe people can upload gifs for avatars such as







Oh and I would like the same for Profile Pictures

Edit: Not 200x200, thats actually way to big, how bout 120x120 or 150x150 I just think they are a little small.

Hmmm, but I notice that you yourself have a gif as your avy oliver.

Bigger avatars wont make the forum look disorganized, if anything it will make it look cooler. Im not talking HUGE, I mean just big enough to allow gifs like the ones I posted.

If you have GIMP or Photoshop, you could just resize it yourself or have someone else do it for you. Then it's just the right size. Bigger Avatars, even a simple upgrade to 200x200 could make this place look stranger most likely. Things would be widened, etc.

I got to stop rambling on about everything, the point, just resize it.

Hmmm, well the 100x100 limit feels like its restraining my creativity. On my site avatars have a max size of 300x300, now I'm not saying make it that big, but make it so I can we can have bigger avatars and so it can support gifs. That's all I'm saying.

You don't necessarily need to follow the 100 x 100. It also goes by file size. If you can manage to make the file size smaller or about the same size as required, you can upload a 200 x 200 size avatar even with the 100 x 100 restriction.
