I was just wondering how we could do this, because we all know forums are better when we have a huge active crowd. Genesis isn't really working out. What else can we do? I've tried getting referrals and stuff like that. Didn't work too well. So, does anybody else have any bright ideas? I'm running out.
ACCF is still alive, but it can be better. I suggest someone who is familiar with ACCF to come with an ideas that would make playing it more convienient. The Official ACCF exchange thread is huge, and many FC's are buried in there, making it difficult for another member to search a FC. Thus a member must post his FC again in order for everyone to see it. If someone can post and keep track of ACCF FCs, maybe there will be more playing than waiting for someone to post their fc.
When Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold are released, I'm sure the Pokemon forum will be crowded. Though I do suggest that it be organized before it is released such as
An Official FC thread, where everyone's fc will be recognized in the first post.
Well, I have been as what one say "recruiting" brawl players. Since Spring Break has begun, I believe there may be more activity. Kr!sP has announced that the "Official WiiUsers Brawl Tournament" has begun (which you signed-up for Zakku), also a link for anyone who wants to post their SSBB fc is in my sig if you're interested.
A clan could increase activity overall, especially what the clan was originally formed (SSBB, MKW, etc.). I have not formed a clan, but I would be willing to support it. WU can benefit from any user who is willing to provide support, but many would rather just play their game. You can play your game and maybe:
Start a clan (as mentioned)
Write a review/ Tutorial (something everyone can do)
Well, I haven't sart nor joined a clan. I was accepted to a brawl clan, but i never kicked off. Though if one satrts a clan, its probably best to get people you know will be active and further develop the clan itself.
As for requests, just make whatever. Give them to people, eventually they'll ask for one. I'm actually making a sig, I'm just making the parts. Then I'll put it together, but that will be awhile.
I've asked to get the friendcodes palette under our usernames on our posts; hasn't happened yet. I'm thinking we could get a "now hiring" sign; we only have 3 writers, 2 events, and we could try some other staff positions. Country's right, the clans aren't working, and neither are SotM.
And the other games you mentioned, that'll mostly be the people that are all already here.
I think we should have at least 50% of our population active; we only have about 15%, AT THE MOST. If we don't, then this place will slowly become dead, again.
As I was searching the forums, I came across a post in the ACCF subforum. Here it is:

Please help, and thanks in advance for any support
Thats why I suggested improving some areas.

Friendcode palettes under the posts will be good, but that doesn't ensure that everyone is playing. A FC thread is needed (which i there), but it is crowded with posts and searching for FC is unbearable. FC palettes would be the same, only when someone logon to WiiUsers is the only guarantee that someone is playing. Otherwise they'll have to mention when they usually play ACCF,that is the only guarantee another member has.
As for hiring more staff, I agree with more events. Writers, you need a few more (especially since you are the only one who has been posting news as of lately). Other staff positions, like what?

If we were more popular, Graphics, Magazine, bring back Developer, separate Reviews, certain specialty Events, Sound, as in creating music playlists and stuff like that, Recruiters, mods for specific forums, Media/Video, either Separating Sound and Video, or combining them as Media for all-around etc.

I would gladly start a thread to keep track of FCs.

There is a Graphics Team, perhaps letting a few more join.
Media would be great, WU susforum for Music and Videos.
WU would be more of a community if anyone was able to post a review.
Elect Events persons and appoint them to where they specialize.
Explain:
Developer
Magazine

That is great.
If someone can do some sort of event for ACCF too, that would make ACCF players more into their game.
Like...
Whoever has the most colorful city gets an award and a sig.
Remember, these are ideas. Someone still has to confirm them and put them to use.

Right, like I said.
a Developer is someone that codes for the site, makes all the colors and executes the edits to the homepage. A Magazine person would put together pages as a magazine-ish style for a .pdf file or something like that. The would put pictures and interviews, exclusive reviews by members and interviews. Ask Mazumia; he's a Magazine writer for Friendcodes.
And for the Friendcodes thread, how would that work? Would we just have people put up all of their friendcodes and have people post that they would like to play them or something?
