OK maybe it's because I rarely get it, but the new Big Mushroom is great =] Flattening people is so fun. Pity you can't flatten them when you lightning them anymore :(

In first triple banana is clearly the best and red box is clearly the worst xD but they had to make some dodgy item in that doesn't protect you from shells in first.

Blue Shell. Although you only get it when your in last place, it's awesome!

Banana and shell for sure because when your in first place it will block those red shells
