Trouble With Unlockable Karts

Hey everybody, i just bought mario kart wii yesterday, so i was playing a little for today and i happened to unlock one of the carts. So i wanted to go and try it out but it doesn't show it. All it shows are two boxes with questionmarks, which weren't there at the beginning. So can anybody tell me why? Thx in advance and sorry if that is a stupid question, I'm just really new to this game.

which cup did you complete and i need engine class

it was the turbo blooper u get after winning the leaf cup in the 50cc mode...
do i have to have trophies in every cup to be able to use the karts that i unlock?
So far i have only played in the 50cc mode and i have gold everywhere but the one with the crown, because i kind of suck on the rainbow road course, i still have to get used to the controls.

you should have the turbo blooper if it doesnt work then try to beat the speacial c

hmmm, ok i'll try that... i hope it works... i mean it said that i unlocked it but its just not there when i choose with what kart i want to drive.

What class were you looking under?

The Blooper is a Medium weight kart.

how do i change the classes from small medium or large

Well, Toad, The Babies, are light weight. Luigi, Mario, Peach, Daisy, Bowser Jr. are Medium. And the rest are heavy. EVery two rows is a weight class. You can't change it.
