Well, 505 Games have outdone themselves. We've all seen our moms get excited when Grease comes on T.V. right? Or even some moms will sing along. First off, I'm sorry for the ones who have moms that sing and maybe even dance along. Second, it's only getting worse. It was announced today that 505 Games is working with Paramount Digital Pictures to make a Grease game for the Wii and DS.

What's the point to it? You have to dance and sing along with Danny, Sandy, The T-Birds, and The Pink Ladies in every song in the movie. It was said at the press release that this game will "take advantage of the Wii's microphone". Now are they talking about WiiSpeak or an external microphone in games such as High School Musical 17.

Managing Director of 505 Games had this to say about this Grease game, "We are really excited about working with Paramount Digital Entertainment to turn this world famous film into a video game for the very first time. Working with such a well known and much loved brand is a great opportunity and we believe the collaboration further strengthens 505 Games’ entertainment portfolio."

Yep, so now instead of our moms dancing and singing along to the movie, they can do it on a video game, too. No release date as been said yet so we'll keep an eye out for that.
