Default "Entirely New" Pokemon Series set out for 2010... Wait, wha?

What, new Pokemon? You're kidding, right? Apparently not. Since the release of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, 3-4 years ago, there has not been a new Pokedex of Pokemon released. A whole "entirely new" set of the Pocket Monsters is being in development in Japan for the DS as of right now. Insane, as it seems that it hasn't been that long since D/P, or so I think.

And no, this is not a fluke, according to the article, this isn't HearGold or SoulSilver. Totally NEW GAMES are coming out, since FireRed, LeafGreen, HeartGold, SoulSilver, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky are all remakes.

The "entirely new" Pokedex is supposed to be released this year in Japan.

Huh. I wonder how they're going to make 100+ Pokemon for a new series? I mean, they've pretty much made a Pokemon out of everything now! .... Aside from the infamous Aardvark.

next thing you know, they're going to use computers, printers, pencils, remotes, computer mice, etc.

Well, look at Rotom's 4 or 5 forms. A lawn mower, refrigerator, vacuum, & an oven. *facepalm*

I don't really want more pokemon. Maybe to be released in 2012 but not yet. When you rush your market it becomes stale, something I hope dnever to happen to pokemon.

I'd say it's beginning, that's why I'm so excited for HG/SS but this news does not please me.

I have not played pokemon in forever, I guess I should keep my mouth shut. If I were to play pokemon again, I'd start at the beginning; yellow, red, blue.

Start with Heart Gold/ Soul Silver. IMO Gold, silver and Crystal were by far the best of the generations. Although I also consider R/S/E second best but as nostalgic as people want to be I'd say the majority of pokemon players agree second generation was the best. the only reason I say Heart Gold is because as much as people liked Gold best no one can contest the amazing things D/P/P did, as horrible of a generaiton as it was.
