SEGA has released the new trailer for their "needle mouse" project, Sonic the Hedgehog 4. A throw back to the Genesis era with the gameplay fans missed. Let's face it Sonic games have sucked multiple times throughout this decade but this game seem like a big bag of awesome, wrapped in shiny graphics, sprinkled with nostalgia. The technical title for the game is Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, it takes place after Sonic & Knuckles as well the title leads you to believe there may be more on the horizon. The game is downloadable for PS3, X-box and Wii as well as something else. PSP? DSi? Steam!? Only time will tell, not much is known about the game at this point. the game seems to have many features, if you check out the official site much of it is locked with a countdown timer just ticking away the days.
