I haven't upgraded yet because I haven't seen a real need to, although; with most new things that come out I know that I'll inevitably want it - so I'm thinking about picking it up with my copy of Scribblenauts.

Same reason Sharky, There are many classic advance games out there, Golden Sun and many more. Heck I still have my GBA for GC hookup (FF: Crystal Chronicles!) plus the fact the DS doesn't play original game boy/color games (Dragon warriors, Bubble Bobble...)

I have to say I was disheartened this morning when I went on Nintendo's Support site to learn that now that I can find "friends" I cannot connect my DS to my network because the DS doesn't support WPA (only WEP).... but the DSi does....

I don't know what that last part is but I call dibs on the story lol! Unless it's old news...

And I didn't know there was a gba hookup for the GBC.

LOL no... the gba/gamecube hookup cable, to play the original Crystal Chronicles in multiplayer. There's no port for it on the DS....

as for the last part... WEP & WPA are types of security encryption for wireless routers... DS doesn't support the one I have... so no online DS for me... Yes, I'm bitter.

Oh I'm sure it's old news... it's on their support FAQ.

What is WEP and WPA?
WEP and WPA are types of security that are used to protect home wireless networks. WEP is the only security setting that works with the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite. WPA and WEP are both compatible with the Nintendo DSi. If you are not sure how to find your router's WEP or WPA Key or if you have problems entering it into your Nintendo DS, try the following tips:

Ahhhh, so it's not a story at all, rather it's just tech, how foolish of me.
