Why I didn't buy a DSi - Page 4

why would any1 want a dsi in the 1st place i mean sure u can record videos and go on internet but NO GBA GAMES so im not buying it.

Everyone has said it. Dispite other reasons that could of been overlooked the loss of backward compadability, and lack of anything revolutionary kills the urge to run out and buy one. Has everyone else noticed that they are trying to get rid of backwards compatability completly as of lately?

I never got a DSi simply because I couldn't afford one. No GBA port? No problem- games will be coming to the virtual shop. It's not that they're trying to rid us of backwards compatibility, it's that they're trying to move on to new technology. Why use those old cartridges if you can simply download the games onto an SD card.

Most kids these days have iPods and other expensive junk.... for people like me who don't have money (or aren't spoiled by their family), the DSi is an ideal device.

It's still pretty expensive IMO, so I'll just wait for the price to drop when the DSi XL comes out. That way, I can get a used one with my employee discount. :> For now, the only thing stopping me is that it's just too expensive.

I can abuse financial aid, but that is for a tuition for a university. My scholarships are also for school. So... yeah.

think of the money you would waste buying your old gb&gba game again on the Vstore when you can just play it on the perfectly still good cartrige. im not made of money, and i dont need my games in two different types. besides they will only resell ones they KNOW will sell. i like lesser known games half the time, what am i to do then?
