I have to do that every once in awhile. I sometimes get mad with it & smack it against the edge of my chair. It works!
Could the sensor cover on the Wiimote just be dirty & that's whats blocking the signal?

I am going to tell you like I have learned by surfing the net about it, the sensor bar in the Wiimote is one of the lowest sensors that are on the market.
If you become out of range with the Wii mote or leave it stagnant for so long, it loses the place where it finds the signal, and remains dormant. That is where the "Smacking up against the chair" idea comes into play

Working on Plugins
![]() |
I was trying to use the flashchat on my wii browser, then my wii froze, I tried pressing the power button, that didn't work, then I tried the reset button, that didn't work, So I decided to "Pull the plug"(Unplug it)
I waited 30 secs. before pluging it back in, when I pluged it back up, It wouldnt turn on X_X... then finally after 30 mins it began to work again.. Is there a possibility something could be wrong with my Wii? |
