(Official) Pikmin 3 Discussion Thread

Yep, for all you Pikmin fans out there, discuss the upcoming Pikmin 3 on this thread.
Personally, I hope the game returns to the original Pikmin formula- I know many people will disagree with me, but I believe the original Pikmin is far superior to pikmin 2. Although, the dungeon system was quite nice- I'd like to see Pikmin 2's caves return, along with the numerous boss battles the game had. Maybe a couple new bosses...? A new color bulborb...?
But my favorite prediction/thing I want in Pikmin 3, is a seasons system, where the hazards and enemies in a given area change depending on what time of year it is- and maybe something, ANYTHING, that's lets you go out at night. ^-^

No way!!!!

But I think Pikmin 3 is a great idea, and should be done. I've already made up my own types of pikmin. I pesonally hope for a 4-player mode, battle, AND a co-op, so you can play the story together!

Sorry if this is a big bump but I really hope there is a Pikmin 3. I love the whole series and I'm anticipating the 3rd one.

That was confirmed a while back... Pikmin 3 is definetely coming...

4 Player Mode would be awkward in that game. What would the objective be? Pikmin games don't really have a main objective. it's different things all the time.

I don't have a Gamecube, so I couldn't play the first two Pikmin games. But now with SSBB, I want to play Pikmin. So I can't wait for Pikmin 3. And the Remake of Pikmin 1 coming to the U.S. in March. Now all that's missing is Pikmin 2.

Pikmin: Getting stranded on a crazy planet and trying to GET THE FRUD OUT!
Pikmin 2: Go back to that crazy place you JUST got out to get that cash money.
JPan's equivilent.
Fromin: I fell into this massive world of hair on Frosy's head, and battled my way to the top. Literally.
Fromin 2: I thought it would be "fun" to go back into that crazy place. I found a bunch of stuff and got out... again

I still miss the little dandruffs. and their funion bags. but not the spotty liceborbs... oh, not the spotty liceborbs...
