Why no Hax?

Chef told me that hacking and modding disscusion isn't alowed here. Why not? It's not like it's a bad thing, it's pretty fun, and allowes customization.

I know hacking Brawl or any other kind of game should be alowed. It's pretty common, and even Friendcodes, Nintendo Worlds and Smash Boards alow it (especially SWF, wave dash hack anyone?).

I made a clan that is deficated to hacking here, and I don't see any warnings or closings from it, yet we can't discuss it.

maybe cause it's like.......illegal technically? although the wii laptop is techinically a mod sinc eit's not made by nintendo. whther they got the rights for it or not i have no clue but i'm pretty sure the admins have some shread of worry that people will see it as a hacking site.

Yes, it is illegal. There can be a lawsuit and maybe that site may have to be taken down. Also, lots of money would be spent on the lawsuit. I prefer not to talk about hacking or modding chips, and stay safe and not get arrested or get a ticket. If you would like to talk about hacking and modding chips, join a different forum which allows you to talk about it. As long as you don't use them or try to use them you will be out of trouble and you will be safe with the internet, the police etc.

Well, apparently it is. It depends on what you hack on. For example if you hack in a game, that wouldn't be illegal. If you hack a account that is not yours, that would be illegal.

It's happened before. Search the news online and there will be all around. The site can be taken down if this happens so as I said, better not to hack.

Well than that wouldn't be illegal. I thought you meant like a web browser of accounts and programs. Games won't be illegal to hack. -_-
