I posted this on Friend codes first so i may have to enlighten a bit. There was an article about Nintendo going way under in sales and a prediction of a sell-out. Just like everybody else i said they wouldn't do it, they're just going through a dry-spout of money. It happens with every console. Thing is it happens with every console a year before they begin making a new one. It's too early to see a new Nintendo Console! I still said they wouldn't sell out to another gaming company though. NEVER! but then i watched this.
YouTube - Sega Vs. Nintendo (The Fight of the Century) (i love how theirs an x-box commercial at the end lol)
Anyways, it's about in the early 90's when All there was, was Nintendo. Then Sega came out and just threw great games trying to appeal to older gamers. They had this whole strategy worked out and while they were finally tied with Nintendo they brought out sonic and had most of the gaming Community with a Sega console. A whopping 65%(which is good) Then as they were in first they didn't have to do ANYTHING but sit back but they tried harder releasing stuff. They were at the top just throwing out good games and winning, which is what Nintendo is doing NOW but throwing out BAD games. Sega tried to improve, improvment after stupid improvment while Nintendo sat back and released a couple of titles that are STILL fresh in our minds. They stuck with the SNES while Sega burnt it self out. Then what happened is Sega sold out TO Nintendo and guess what, i know people are thinking it probably won't happen but that's what they thought back then. We already got Nintendo's Rare company now affliated with Microsoft, and a little heads up Rare was a branch of the Nintendo CO. So now with Nintendo not only going through a dry spout but also doing what Sega did all they have to do is try to make a new console too early, which alot of people are predicting for some reason, and then they're out!
