Chronoligy Confusion of Zelda.

Some people have been confused on...which game took place first in the zelda series...it most certinly wasn't Legend of Zelda. I have created a time line of the zelda series as it was released and a Zelda time line with a series of Links life according to me. People also say that Link isn't the only one in all the games...they could be decendets of the one Link...but I don't think so. So here is the time line.

Link is an adult in Zelda 2 and Zelda had been a sleep for around 1000 years. Also, the golden wolf in Twilight Princess is the Link from OoT and the Link in TP is his descendant. Spirit Tracks takes place thousands of years after Phantom Hourglass as technology has advanced. There's no real story line until Nintendo releases one but even after that people will be making their own.

I hate to be blunt, but your logic is all wrong. It's a different Link each time so it doesn't go in the order of his age. Wind Waker explicitly says it takes place hundreds of years after OoT, and Twilight Princess is clearly a few decades after OoT as it is prior to the Great Flood. LttP recalls OoT at the beginning, so must be afterwards. OoT must be the first in the chronology because it depicts Ganon committing his first evil act, and he is a new threat then. Also, Wind Waker Link is the same age as OoT child link, as he receives the Hero's Clothes on the day he turns the same age as the Hero of Time. In Majora's Mask, it explicitly says it takes place immedietely after OoT. The only games where it is unclear where it fits in in the chronology are Minish Cap and Four Swords Adventure, although the splitting technology used in FSA is discovered in MC, so it is likely to be afterwards.

Well Ruairi a lot of people consider Minish Cap to be first as it tells a story of a Hero that WASN'T Link. Also, you fight Vaati not Ganon so it is quite possible. But if ti does come first then Zelda 1 most definitely comes second as it has Ganon pig.

When Link ventures to Termina, that is the cause of the great flood. Also since the Golden Wolf in TP tells him to learn the stories of his past...or something like that, meaning his ascendants, he teaches him a wind waker song. This means TP comes after WW. At any rate Spirit Tracks comes last, Trains>boats>Horses>walking.

Ruairi, Your kind of wrong there. In ocarina of time the sages make link skip his childhood to defete gannon. After you defeat him zelda take you back to your young self. Thats were the sequal Majoras Mask comes in.

So Basicly is a Sequal to the first one. Prequal to the sequal. Prequal to the prequal to the first sequal. And another prequal the sequal.

Actually, the gods created the Great Flood when evil rose again some time after Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. And the original Zelda's manual described the events of OoT and LttP as being before it, so it couldn't have been first.

Well it didnt. The first zelda couldnt be first. Doesnt it ironic that the game is called. Link to the "Past". But its not the the first in the zelda time line.

Yes, the Gods would have left it for The Hero but since there was none they were forced to create the flood. Link was in Termina when evil rose.

It was called a Link to the Past because you could travel between the dark and light worlds.

Well, I use to think so too but now I'm a fantic and like the AVGN said"Zelda fans are the smartest, they can remember every little detail about the series to contradict any other detail about the series." You begin to notice things like how the Golden Wolf said learn the stories of your ancestors past. A lot of stuff like that.
