GameStop NSMBWii trade

Ok so for those of you who know about the "trade in two wii games and get NSMBWii for $10" offer, I wanna know if Pokemon Battle Revolution is eligible for the trade because honestly that game sucks but it's First party and might be on the list. I've already decided to trade in Super Mario Sluggers. If Battle Revolution is eligible then I might trade in Mario Kart Wii, which idk if I wanna do...

So can anyone give me some advice? (maybe Ilu?)

(whoa, totally missed this thread)

Unfortunately, Pokemon Battle Revolution is not one of the approved games for the trade-in promo. The games are basically the new stuff or the really popular stuff like Wii Sports Resort, Mario Party 8, Super Mario Galaxy (I think), Mario & Sonic @ Winter Olympics, Mario Kart, etc. etc.

Really, the Wii games on the list aren't ones that most would want to get rid of. Promos are usually pretty good when you want to get the hottest new game, but this time around it's kinda iffy. If you have any other consoles, I'd recommend trading in games for those. There's another promo going on where, if you trade in 2 or 3+ games, you'll get a bonus on your trade in. If I remember correctly, it's: 10% more for 2 trade-ins, 20% more for 4 trade-ins, and 40% more for 6 trade-ins (only applies to new-gen console games). If you have the Edge card, you get an additional 10% on top of the promo. A lot of people who went that route because they had some good games that racked up a lot of store credit.

Or, you could always ask for a business card and call in every day to see if anybody trades the game in. GameStop gets a lot of stolen games, so you never know. The store I work at gets one or two of them a week.

@ilu: it's okay I missed the promo anyway. I still have mkwii because of it. To be honest they did kind of corner you there by only accepting popular games. I would've traded in battle revolution in a second for new super Mario bros wii ( nsmbwii is amazing btw I've played it at my local gamestop).

Although I still have my sluggers game and mkwii traded in some of my other junk wii games like pokemon battle revolution, carnival mini golf and wii music along with neopets the darkest faerie for ps2 and pokemon colliseum and I got 32$ of in store credit and a new edge card. So I'm going to use that to help pay for new super mario bros ds and wii.

If you're getting NSMBW, why get the one for the DS? The one for Wii is pretty much the same game with extras.

Not the exact same, they have different levels and the Wii version has a few quirks, but that's about it.

I'm just saying. If they are both the exact same game just one is for wii then it would be pointless.

But if they both have unique levels I would be interested in buying both. Because I'm bored of super mario brothers 3.

They are both critically aclaimed titles after all.
