New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Firstly, with New Super Mario Bros. Wii out, and awesome, and with Galaxy 2 on the way, surely Mario deserves a board? Give it a thought, admins.

On topic: anyone else think this game was actually really damn good? It was obscenely frustrating at times, mainly because the game had been built for four players with intralevel respawns (the second Bowser boss was one of the most aggravating gaming experiences I've endured - I pity anyone who says "Oh it wasn't that bad" because they clearly are lying to look like a super skilled gamer. Silly people). Nonetheless, it was a blast and I had a great time with it. I still am; 8 worlds of star coins and secret exits means replay value galore. And the multiplayer, while I disagree with the use of yellow and blue Toads (Wario & Waluigi? Did nobody at Nintendo think of them?), is surprisingly great fun.

Should've had online, but still fun because of multiplayer. You played multiplayer on it, right?

Got it at Christmas, beat it 100% within about one week. :3 I gotta say though, it was a pretty good game, I liked some of the new items, and the multiplayer, although agravating and somewhat difficult, could be a lot of fun. And the last boss was in no way easy, I had to use up a couple propeller mushrooms to beat it. That's all I'm gonna say, at the risk of spoiling things. I think the hardest level in the game for me may have been 9-7. Not gonna say much about it, except ice, fire pirahna plants, and HATRED! Other than that, I enjoyed the game, and I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. And multiplayer could have been fun, but it may have been laggy, and it's easy enough to die in unlaggy multiplayer!

Bowser works alongside Mario in Super Mario RPG and with both of them in some of the new Mario RPGs. Not sure which ones, but he does. My point being, it's not an impossible union (they could have been paid...?), and would have definitely been a bit cooler than two anonymous toads.

I played this game ab a local gamestop and I must say it was fantastic the bit that I played. It was indeed frustrating at time but that is a key part of the Mario tradition. I only played through the first world but now I want this game o' so much. And to my disdain I had found out that my mom had purchased it for me for christmas but took it back...

I played it with a friend and 2 others, was it fun. Though it had frustrastions, like your friend jumping on you. Then you fall and die, to notice it was your last live.
