When do you think we will have the wii 2? What are your hopes for this system when it does hit the shelves?

I can provide a well-backed up theory on the date front.
Nintendo releases a new home system every five years without fail since the Super NES: SNES in 91, N64 in 96, GCN in 01 and Wii in 06. Therefore, it would be logical to predict a 2011 release for the new console and an unveiling at this year's E3.
However, things are different this time around; sales of the Wii are still phenomonal, there doesn't seem to be any let up in third party support and the Xbox360 and PS3 have both been marketted to last longer than previous consoles.
Therefore, I'd tip the release date to be closer to 2013. Which, yes, is after the end of the world. Looks like the Wii will be the last console we see from Nintendo.

I don't mean to advertise in any sort, if you believe I do. Just a rumor on the Wii HD, so don't get over excited. Nintendo's increase in money for hardware.

ive heard their making this and super mario galaxy 2 and some other game 2 xd can't remember.

Ok, what is it with people and the end of the world these days? This is shit, because we've survived Y2K, Mad Cow, Bird Flu, and Swine Flu. I remember there was a rumor by the time 2000 came around, we would somehow not exist. And then there's Ice Age theories, and global warming and global cooling contradict each other. So, seriously, this is not about to happen. Just because the Mayan Calendar ended at December 21, 2012 doesn't mean anything. THEY HAVE LIVES, TOO, YOU KNOW! They probably had some other stuff to do, like take care of their tribe and children. Now if you were just kidding, nice job on getting me started.

Anyway, by that time, there will also be a new Xbox 720, and possibly a PS4.

Actually, an HD compatible Wii has already been confirmed (was in a Game Informer magazine). As for it's date, who knows. It's suspected to be mid to late 2011 or later. That's also supposed to be when colored consoles will return. The HD Wii is supposed to be black, but it's assumed that other colors will be put out to match the colored Wiimotes and Nunchuks that are being released soon.

It's not too hard to believe, either, since none of the companies want to make brand new systems. Sony and Microsoft have already emphasized wanting to make consoles last for 10+ years instead of the few years we've been used to in the past. That way, they can focus on new control technology and add-ons instead of participating in a graphics race. So, in the meantime, they plan to put out amped up versions of systems already on the market. For instance, Microsoft plans to release the Natal both separately and with 360 consoles. So, it's not hard to imagine that Nintendo would release a Wii with HD capabilities sometime soon.
