General - Endless Ocean: .Period

Ok so Ive looked at this game Endless Ocean in the local gamestop. It never really appealed to me at all. But lately Ive been watching alot of Discovery and Animal Planet on tv. I know What does this have to do with Endless Ocean, right? well thats just the thing, Ive watched so much of these two channels and then hopped on my wii and saw the new Endless Ocean Blue World on there coming out on monday. Now it appeals to me even more now so. So i was thinking... Should i pick this one if not both of them up, is it even worth getting the first one? things like that
Had any one played/owned the first one and if so how would you describe it, do you love it, hate it, reccomend to a friend?
I just want feedback so i know what to expect and wont be disappointed, if i get it at all that is.
Upon me purchasing this is all depending on what kinda feedback i recieve.
