Yeah, I have to agree with you on that. People using DDD using the DK method can really suck, but I haven't heard of the smallstep on Bowser.

Yeah, you just walk forward a little bit and regrab. Easily racks 100%+ across FD.
He can also standing infinite Mario, Luigi, and Samus, but because of the weird decaying attributes of his dthrow he has to pummel every fourth regrab in order to make it fresh, which gives you a chance to escape (If you button mash right you can escape one pummel anywhere below 127%)- he doesn't have to pummel against DK though so he can't escape. He ledge infinites wolf and himself with dthrow in the right position, and has a weird grab release infinite on Wario. Smallsteps work against Ganon, Wario, and a couple other characters as well, but to a lesser extent than with Bowser.

I just saw a vid about the standing Infinite it demonstrated it and told what characters it worked against, I understood all of this afterward.
