What does pokerus actually do? (Pardon the ignorance, I've just never really taken the time to look for the answer)
But yeah, I've gotten it a couple times in Diamond.

It is basically a status aliment as it say, that boosts your pokemons exp. gain. From my experiences anyway.

Pokerus is a virus that increases your stats firstly, temporarily –*until it goes away, but the stats actually stay the same from when you got it. There will be a happy face to let you know it was there. My Tyranitar's speed actually went up significantly.
