I'm certain the glitch can be performed in Pokemon Yellow.

I don't believe you could play it with Pokemon Yellow - that was the game I first had and I had to wait until I Pokemon Red to test out the cheat myself.

Like everyone else, I used it to duplicate eeeverryyyttthing - rare candy, Master Balls and the whatnots. My weirdest event, though? >.< I CAUGHT IT. I didn't realize you weren't supposed to do that. :/ Eventually, my game pretty much died. D: It would no longer save, Missingo interferred with everything. After beating the Elite Four again, my records were screwed up. I started up the game one day and when the Pokemon ran across the screen, instead of them, Missingo did.

Ugh. I was so angry. xD

The wierdest glitch that happen to me was...

I was in the middle of a pokemon battle, and I accidently tapped the Pokemon Yellow cartridge (I was using a GBA SP, plenty of room to for the game to get hit). Once I hit the cartridge, a menu came up. This menu was similar to when you are buying stuff at the pokemart, except this mart was selling rare candys and master balls. I was like wtf, I actually tried to buy something but the game froze.

Another glitch when I tapped the game was when I was in a cave. I finished a battle. Once that happened, the background became that of a pokemon center. What happened was what happens in every pokemon center, the pokemon heal. Once again I was like wtf, so I opened my menu to check if my pokemon were healed and they were. After that, the background changed back as of a cave.

I know this thread is about Missingno., but this is another in-game glitch I thought I should tell. What I don't understand is how a tap on the game caused these events. If someone knows, do tell.

My experience with Missingno was awesome! I caught it, leveled it up, and crashed my game! ;( It was fun starting over though!
