Anyway Yutu, I'm pretty sure that in one game or anything that u like u can find something like a tier list. Brawl, Halo, football, etc. b Back on subject, I kinda find tiers funny, as I know a couple of bottom tier mainers that can beat some good ass MK's.

well this IS in the brawl section and the thread IS called brawl tier list discusson.

Anyways. Yutu your playing off tiers all wrong. They're based on Combos and techniques. Who can do this better. The game designers make the game not worrying about hw one character would effect another the metagame is created by us, the players. I can agree with you that it's unbalanced, but what is blanaced? besides there are tiers for everything, halo has tiers for the armour permetations pokemon is the top tier of tier based games and mewtwo used to be the top tier of it's game! It's all good and fun and when it comes down to tourneys people use higher tiers because they can do better combos just cause thats how they were made. besides people don't use top tier cause they are top tier they use it for the combos ad then it becomes top tier and all the noobs that never went to a tourney complain that it's ruining the game but if the metagame doesn't evolve then it just stays a game you play in your living room with your friends choosing random players not caring about who you play as long as they look cool and never getting better at the game. When that happens and people find out what tiers are two things happen. They start bettering themselves by choosing the haracters they want and learning and creating combos for themselves or become a TR4Q freak that uses yoshi on green hill zone with final smashes on high against level 3's just using the rolling egg move. You can complain about tiers all you want but the metagame changes everything in th game behind the scenes and without it there wouldn't be enough popularity for sakurai to have made brawl.

lol no. It was jsut a debate. to tell you the truth i hate both sides but i still beleive tiers are needed in the background i hate people who use them cause they're up there. no offense yutu.

Personally I don't like the way Tier List 2.0 was set up. Way too many tiers. That's why I made my version to look exactly like the First on but with the new character placings.
