Wii Channels Guide

3 Shopping Channel
The Shopping Channel is meant to let you the Wii users who have Wi-Fi get the latest Virtual Console games and Wiiware. Virtual Console games are the old NES, SNES and N64 games downloadable with Wiii points to your Wii Console. Wiiware is the new channels that are able to download (most are free) and the videos or demos of games coming out soon.

1. Getting Wii Points
Wii points are available at your local game store and are one dollar (for Americans) per 100 points. You may also purchase Wii Points via credit card number on your Wii. To do this go to Get Wii Points on the Shop Menu and go through the steps of giving your credit card number. To download Wii Points from a Wii Points card you buy go to Get Wii points then you will follow the steps to put in the code on the back of you Wii Points card that you scratch off.

2. Downloading Games/WiiWare
The Virtual Console section is on the left and WiiWare on the right. Click either one and you will see a list of things to download. To download the Virtual Console games click on it and you will see a download button you click that and go on to the agreements after you accept those you will start the download. After the download you will have less Wii Points and the Virtual Console game will be in your Wii Menu to play.

3. Sending Games/WiiWare to a Friend
To send a Virtual Console or WiiWare Channel to a friend when clicking download you will see a button that says Gift. You click that button and choose the friend to send it to. When your friend receives the gift he will send you a message back saying he has received the game.

*Notes*
Your Wii needs to be connected to WiiConnect24 to do this!
