Also, you forget that Ganondorf is now half as fast as before, and the fact that the gravity is more realistic in Brawl (hence the Havok engine). He is still usable but he's not nearly as good as he was in melee, and would severely frustrate a new player.
!!! - Also, the score is NOT supposed to be how good a character is (because that depends on how good the player is), but how good that character would be for a new player.
Also, if you don't think some form of range is necessary, you're insane. Range gives you the ability to rack up damage at a safe distance from your opponent, and meta knight ONLY has quick slashes. He has no range, no reversals, no reflectors, not even a special talent (like aura). He's fairly useful in the subspace emissary and is fun to play as, but he doesn't stand much of a chance against an experienced player.
