oh yeah, to answer your question of what guitar I have, it's some cheap 'ION' one from some starter set, but I've had it for 3 years and it hasn't failed me!
My amp though, is a Roland 'Micro Cube' that's loud (can be heard over a drum set, I think, haven't tried it up with my friend's kit yet) and has built in distortion and can even run on batteries!
The best part is it's size though. Just a bit taller than a Wii, but as loud as much bigger amps!
