Trauma Center: New Blood review

Trauma Center: New Blood review

Alright so this is my first review, so I might make some mistakes.

Trauma Center: New Blood is the third game in the series, but not a direct sequal to the last one. You play as Doctors Markus Vaughn and Valerie Blaylock, both with the power of the "Healing Touch". You start in a small alaskan town preforming operations to people in need. And soon you get sucked into fighting a super-virus called Stigma. Now lets get into the caterglorires.

Story: 9/10
Great story to me. The story takes place 10 years after the GUILT outbreak from Secnond Opinion. I really don't want to spoil much (since i would have to spoil it to tell the best parts) but you start in the alasken town and soon get transfered to concordia (I think that's the name.) a while after that you again get transfered, but this time to a place called Caduseus. And throughout the story some interesting events happen, and you'll always want to know what will happens next. I give the story a 9/10

Controls: 9/10

The controls worked exellent with this game. No little glitches stop your cursor from moving. A quick flick of the thumb on the nunchuk controller's control stick switches your tools from a scalpel to the drain to the laser. a total of 8 tools in all. Although the Healing touch is a little hard to use, the controls give you more of a feeling of being a doctor. I give the controls a 9/10.

Graphics: 8/10

Alright the graphics are nothing special, no animations, just cut-out charicters and a decent backround. Could've been better, but the graphics just fit the game. I give the graphics a 8/10

Sound: 9/10

When I first put the Trauma Center: New Blood disc and then the opening started I was like, 'This music is great!' And I continued to like the music throughout the game. Each operation's music was really good although it repeats itself, but I didn't mind. each operation's music worked great for what the operation was about. Plus full voice acting for all of the charicters really helps. Especially during the operations when Elena is giving you instrutions so you don't have to read, which means you can concentrate on the operation. I give the sound a 9/10

Gameplay: 9.5/10

This game has GREAT gameplay. Once you get into doing the operations you'll have a blast doing them all, weather it's removing tumors or removing a shotgun bullet, you will have so much fun. Oh, not to mention the Co-op! The Co-op is so great! Especially when you're stuck on an operation and you need help. This game can get hard at some times. There are some operations that you will have to have someone help you. but ignore the website reviewers. You can beat some of the operations by yourself. But try it on easy the first time. It can be hard even on normal. Actually, it's hard to beat a lot of the operations on normal by yourself. But don't worry, you can change the difficulty anytime you want during the story. But trust me. play on easy mode. I give the gameplay a 9.5/10

This game is one of my favorite games on Wii, and you better go pick up this game, and a friend, and find out for yourself!

My rating: 9.3/10
