Chatbox? Are you talking about the chat on the site? If you are well that has been pretty dead for many a months now. That is one of the reasons we are in Beta right now (check the top) we are working to improve all aspects of the site , especially the chat so look forward to that in the near future. Most members prefer to use pagers right now though and it is very handy.
