Being a Marvel fan I half expected the movie to be an utter mess (Not only because I am not a fan of Iron Man, but because some movies have failed in the past for Marvel). Not to say that they were all, I thoroughly enjoyed Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Spider-Man 1 and 3, as well as X-Men. But that is besides the point, what I am here to talk about is Iron Man.

Like I said prior, this was a movie that I was expecting to give me quite a let down, even though I'm not a fan of the comic itself. However, Iron Man far surpassed my expectations, do you know why? Let me explain in these categories.

Visuals/Sound Effects
Knowing Marvel movies and todays technology, it is quite evident that Iron Man would expect to have stunning visuals especially since the comic itself revolved around war and the military. It's a safe bet that with all the effects you see in this movie that it would keep you want to go on watching. The sound effects and sounds you hear throughout the movie are quite decent as well, I would have to say both are in my books a 9/10.

Replay (Will you watch it again?)
Of course, I can't spoil anything about the movie to you, you all need to watch it first. But Robert Downey Jr., you all know how sarcastic he is right? well he does quite the job playing the sarcastic character Tony Starks. Between the amount of comedic moments, mixed in with action and seriousness, it's no wonder I enjoyed this movie, I hardly found any flaws and in fact, this has got to be Marvels most successful movie and will no doubt spawn a sequel. So I give the replay a 10/10

This is coming from a guy who never enjoyed the Iron Man comics ( yes I must reiterate again) It has me in its grasp, I am pretty sure I am going to end up buying this movie upon release on Dvd.

I'll leave you with this one quote in which I found hilarious

Tony Starks: "If you shoot me with that again, I swear I'll sell you to charity" (I may have been off on this one but hey, if you see the movie you'll know which part I mean)

Overall though I RECOMMEND seeing this movie, it's this Springs must see flick!

Score: 9/10
Man, you and I have a lot in common. We both are big Dragon Ball fans, and now big Marvel fans, too. I just saw it during the premier, but not right when it came out, but 6 hrs. later.
