As most of you know, not much has been released on one of the most anticipated Wii titles, Animal Crossing Wii. Nintendo continues to keep us on the line with the following information:

- Animal Crossing: Wii is officially under development! Release date to be announced 2008. (Source: IGN)

-People can send a letter from their cell phone or from an email address on a PC to the Wii, and then the player living in the town in Animal Crossing can receive that letter. (Source: Nintendo Power Magazine)

-Friends can visit your town or leave messages while your Wii is in standby mode. (Source: Nintendo Power Magazine)

I'll continue to update this as Nintendo makes their announcements...

Anyhow, I'd like any and all Animal Crossing: Wii suggestions to be posted here. I'll be making notes of each and every suggestion and eventually have this displaying all suggestions from WiiUsers.net!

Hope you can set traps on it, just like the DS version. For example: Pitfall.

hope you can put a wii in your house, and then whenever you want you can access it and play the VC games you have downloaded. That way if you are waiting for a certain time of day, which happens alot in animal crossing you can just play some VC games while you wait easily.

My list:

#1: Global trade system
I really want this so we don't have to get a million people's friend codes to find someone who wants to buy your item. With the GTS you could just put in an item up for a trade or sell and wait for someone who wants it! this would make getting rid of items you don't want better for both you and the buyer (as long as it's not like Pokemon Diamond/Pearl when they ask for a riduculas trade)

#2: Community center
We don't want to deal with the friend code system, but we also don't want for people to screw over our towns. So there should be a little community center where you can go meet people, talk to them, disscuss trades, meetings, and other stuff. Then you can trade out Friend codes and come to each other's towns. (I give credit to my friend of thinking this up)

#3: Voice chat
This would be great if Nintendo could lighten up and give us some voice chat in Animal Crossing Wii. It would make it waaaay easier for everything online in Animal Crossing Wii. Quicker trades, easy to talk, and to get away from the annoying, taking forever screen keyboard that you have to point to the letters and press A. This is the ONLY game I am hoping for voice chat in.

#4: Bring back some of the original Animal Crossing parts
Did any of you absolutly HATE the lack of not being able to do chores for your villagers? I know I did. also you got too many pitfalls in Wild world it was no fun to collect them since you got too many. And what's the deal with kicking out the acres? it was easy to find everything and remember where certain things in your town is. Bring back the NES games! Those were fun to pass the time and were a great time to play. The gate? I liked the train station and the police station better. The town hall wasn't bad though. All in all the original Animal Crossing was better and you all know that deep inside. (besides the Wi-Fi)

So hopefully there will be some original ideas back in the series, or at least improvements

Yeah Sharing a house was a terrible idea. Seperate houses would be great. You can make an extra file to store all your junk that you are planning on selling
