Video game music on the piano.
I mentioned before that I liked to play some video game music on the piano. So I decided to make a blog entry about it. Because I can't use musical notes, I'm just going to write the note. (C, D, ect...) I WILL update this occasionally. It helps if you heard the music yourself so you have a better idea of how it sounds. Dashes mean that there is no pause between notes. (C-D-E) No spaces mean the notes are played at the same time. (CDE) > Means hold down the note for a while.
Meta Knight's Revenge Ending: (Ending music of Meta Knight's Ravenge from Kirby Super Star) (I only know the first part)
E-G-A> (higher) A-B-C A D-E-D B-A-B> E-G-A> A A A-G-E> E-G-A> A-B-C A D-E-D B-A-B> B-D E-C-A D-B-G C-A-F B-G-E A> (Repeat then go on to next part but I don't know the next part)
Song of Storms:
Right hand:D-F-(high)D D-F-(high)D (high) E> F-E-F E-C-A> A D F-G-A> A D F-G-E> D-F-(High)D D-F-(high)D (high)E> F-E-F-E-C-A> A D F-G-A> A D>
Lefthand: I tried to put the notes in for the left hand but it was impossible to tell which times you need to play the notes. Here's how it works. Every big space between the right hand note means a left hand note is on the next note. Here is the keys for the left hand:
D E F E (Low)Bb (Low)F D E F E (Low)Bb D
This is probably my favorite song. It's called Morrowind. It goes higher until it reaches Bb, then it goes back down to the F below the G.
C D Eb> Eb F G> G Bb F> G-F-Eb-D-C> C D Eb> Eb F G> G Bb C>(high) Bb D C> C-D-Eb D C Bb Ab G F> Eb G F> Eb D C F> C f> (repeat again higher up. Then reeat a 3rd time at the original spot. There is left hand, but it is too complex. Listen to the music to get an idea of how it sounds. Go to VG music.com and go to the X-box section, than go to Morrowind.)

It takes a long time to learn to play some songs. If you listen to them a lot, and are decent with an instrument, you can try to start figuring out the notes. I cant play every song, and there are some songs I wish I could play, (like 02) but I cant. I'm also slightly a composer, (nothing too big) which helps.
