Isn't it painful,
When someone important fades away?
Don't you cry,
When love dies with the last word said?

Who says I need truth,
When the lies don't ache my heart?
Who says I'm not cold,
When my body aches for warmth?

Isn't it sad,
To love and love again?
Doesn't it hurt to wait,
Be it one year or even ten?

Why does it hurt,
To lose your warm embrace?
Why can't I forget,
No matter how long it takes?

Was it ever meant,
For me to love you like this?
Was it all a dream,
That one day had to lose it's bliss?

Why must I love you,
Yet I cannot do anything for you?
Are you really happier,
With another girl who loves you too?

Then why is it that,
Now my love is split and lost?
Who do I really love,
The present or the past?

It's a painful memory,
The one of you that I hold dear.
There's nothing I can do,
To make the hole disappear.

So who do I love?

Do I have a right to love,
After what I've done to you?
