I still remember the moment clearly,
When he looked at me and asked for my heart,
When he took my hand and held me dearly,
I knew then we could never be apart.

I don't know how it came to be,
But somehow I now belong to him,
And it doesn't make any difference to me,
Because if I could I'd always be with him.

The word love meant nothing to me before,
I see now how blind I was back then,
But it's not enough to call it love when its so much more,
I know I want to spend my life with only him...
